Director & Chairman

Imran Abbasy is Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s nominated director on PIOL Board since September 21, 2022. He is also serving as the Chairman of the PIOL Board since 27 July 2024.

Mr. Abbasy is a seasoned industry professional with diverse, multinational experience of 35 years with several mid-and large-sized Exploration and Production companies as well as a major service company. He has held various technical and leadership roles in production technology, drilling, completion engineering and operations.

Mr. Abbasy earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1981 followed by a master’s in Aerospace Engineering in 1983 from The George Washington University, USA.
