Head of Drilling

Mr. Gonzalo has been serving as Head of Drilling since 01 August 2023. He is responsible for Drilling function of the Company.

He is a seasoned drilling professional with more than seventeen years of working experience. He is a Master of Science – Materials and Metallurgy, from Colorado School of Mines, USA and a Mining Engineer from Oviedo School of Mines, Spain.

Prior to joining Pakistan International Oil Limited (PIOL), Mr. Gonzalo worked in different capacities with Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A.U., commonly known as CEPSA – a Spanish multinational Oil & Gas Company. His last secondment was with ADNOC offshore since September 2018, earlier in the capacity of Drilling Operations Team Lead and later as Drilling Operations Manager.
